FAQs about Bid Day Packages

How will you know what sorority to deliver my PNM's bid day package to? 

All you have to do is pick the package or packages you want to send her and we will take care of the rest! We receive the bid list from Panhellenic at the same time your PNM receives her bid. At that time, we will match the list with the order or orders you placed. 

When and where will you deliver her package(s)? 

We will deliver all bid day packages to your PNM's sorority house on the given day and time assigned to us by panhellenic. A schedule will be given to us before bid and we will post this on our website when we receive it. Once your PNM lets you know what sorority she is in, take a look at the delivery schedule to see when her gift will be delivered. 

What happens if my PNM decides to drop out of recruitment? 

If your PNM drops out of recruitment before bid day, all you have to do is contact us via email or phone call and we will send you a full refund. If we have not been contacted and we do not see your PNM's name on the bid list, we will contact you and give you a full refund. 

What happens if we run out of an item that is in a bid day package? 

We hope this will not be an issue, but if for some reason we run out of an item in the package you purchased, we will replace it with a similar item of equal value. If we can't replace it, we will put an enveloped voucher in her package that she can bring in and redeem for something of equal value. 

What should my PNM do if an item in her package doesn't fit, if she doesn't like it, or if she received multiple of the same item? 

She can bring the item back to our store and exchange it for something of equal value. She must bring the item into our store by September 30th. 

Does The Trunk ship or deliver bid day packages to other universities? 

No, we only deliver bid day packages to sororities at The University of Alabama. If you would like to send a gift to a PNM at another university, you can select individual items and when you check out, select "shipping" so we can send their present straight to them. 

Can I customize my bid day package? 

Unfortunately, we do not offer customization or "creating your own" bid day packages because of the high demand of orders. We do this to ensure that each PNM gets exactly what she is supposed to in her package! We offer 4 add-on options to allow customers the opportunity to add more to their bid day package. One great option for adding on to a package is to purchase a gift card! The gift card will be sent directly to the PNMs email address!

How will I know when the package has been delivered? 

The sorority house mom and/or sorority facility manager will let the new members know when deliveries have been made to the house.
